Acrylic Painting: For the Love of Fog

Expand your skill set and learn to paint dramatic fog with acrylic paint! During class we will talk about the way you can use fog to highlight your landscape, as well as ways to achieve luminous foggy effects without dulling your painting. Students should have experience in acrylics and be comfortable with experimentation.

Materials (provided by student) :
-Reference photo of choice -one primed 8×10 canvas

-A variety of brushes (students are encouraged to bring their favorite brushes. Students should have flats, filberts and round brushes with them for class) –

Acrylic paint in a range of colors applicable to the student’s chosen reference photo (must be student quality or higher. Craft paint is not recommended).

-Golden Brand Acrylic Glaze Medium (in satin or gloss. students’ choice)
