Knitting For Beginners

Learn the fundamentals of knitting in a relaxed, beginner-friendly environment. We’ll start with a brief overview of the different knitting styles, how they differ, and when they’re commonly used before diving into the basics using the English knitting method.

By the end of class, you’ll:

• Learn two different cast-on methods
• Master the two essential knitting stitches
• Create two practice swatches using both garter and stockinette stitch patterns
• Learn how to cast off and neatly finish your work
