DESCRIPTION:Social media helps people discover you.\nEmail helps them stay connected to you. \nIn this second workshop\, we’ll take the next gentle step in sharing your work by building something even more personal: your own email list. \nAn email list is simply a way to stay in touch with the people who already love your art—past buyers\, collectors\, friends\, and those who feel connected to your creative voice. It allows you to share updates\, new pieces\, upcoming shows\, and your story… without algorithms\, pressure\, or noise. \nIn this class\, I’ll guide you step-by-step through:\n• Setting up a simple email platform (I’ll demonstrate using MailChimp)\n• Creating your first email list\n• Writing a warm\, human welcome message\n• Sending a simple monthly newsletter (no fancy design required)\n• Understanding how to lightly organize or “tag” your audience so you can stay connected to the people most interested in your work \nWe’ll also explore the idea of an optional “free gift” (such as a behind-the-scenes story\, printable\, or small creative offering) that people can receive when they join your list—shared in a way that feels generous\, not salesy. \nMost importantly\, we’ll talk about the heart behind email:\nThis is not about pushing people to buy.\nThis is about nurturing relationships\, staying visible\, and allowing your art to grow in the lives of others over time. \nYou’ll leave with:\n✔ A starting point on your email list\n✔ A simple welcome email written or drafted\n✔ A clear\, doable plan for staying in touch\n✔ Confidence in sharing without pressure or overwhelm \nYou are not “too late.”\nYou are not “bad at technology.”\nYou are simply an artist learning a new way to get your art into the hands & minds of others! \n*Note: This can be a stand-alone class and Part One is not a requirement to take this workshop. \nAttendees\, please bring: your phone\, tablet or laptop (if possible!)
